Responsibilities:
- Delegates the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for coordinating the clinical flow of his/her core care team;.
- Documents calls; returns patient phone calls; requests medical records that do not pertain to prescribed biologics
- Schedules nurse visits that do not pertain to prescribed biologics
- Screens calls regarding reactions to biologics and responds to refill requests and new prescriptions that do not pertain to prescribed biologics
- Draws injections
- Documents procedures assessments and ultrasound diagnostic procedures
- Draws and processes PRP
- Orders physical therapy and outside imaging
- Manages inbox and researches provider notes to provide medical guidance for patients
- Guarantees all MIPS requirements are entered accurately during patient triage
- Assists in the clinical workflow to ensure efficient throughput time
- Triages patients; processes samples; administers injectable SQ and IM medications
- Enters nurse visit notes;
- Sets up exam rooms for ultrasound procedures and assists providers with ultrasound procedures
- Cleans and stocks exam rooms
- Ensures all emergency inbox requests are completed by days end
