The Program Manager for the CDPH PrEP-AP Telehealth Program will lead the successful launch and ongoing management of TeleMed2U's newest statewide initiative supporting HIV & STI prevention through virtual care. This highly visible, fast-paced role requires a self-motivated individual with strong project management capabilities, operational oversight skills, and the ability to meet and exceed state-mandated service level agreements (SLAs).
The Program Manager will build the program from the ground up, lead a non-clinical team (Enrollment Workers and PrEP Navigators), and coordinate closely with clinical leaders to ensure program integrity and operational excellence. This individual will serve as the primary liaison with internal departments and CDPH/OA, with a proactive approach to compliance, quality assurance, and issue resolution. TeleMed2U is actively pursuing additional opportunities and programs in the space and is seeking a strong individual with a desire to grow within the organization.

Drive end-to-end implementation of the PrEP-AP telehealth program: team setup, process design, system workflows, development of standard operating procedures Monitor performance against SLAs, ensure contractual obligations and state reporting requirements are met Lead operational meetings, internal updates, and performance reviews; prepare agendas, decks, and updates as required Manage and support a team of Enrollment Workers and PrEP Navigators, ensuring full coverage and effective communication across roles Coordinate with clinical leadership and IT to ensure timely appointment access, reporting accuracy, and quality of care Step in when needed to support frontline operations, including answering calls or triaging issues during staff shortages Prepare and lead quarterly performance reviews and monthly reporting efforts required by CDPH/OA Maintain high-touch project plans with milestones, deliverables, and accountability structures Support grievance resolution, community partner engagement, and continuous process improvement initiatives Cross-Training & Integration: the position is currently associated with a newly won engagement with a government-funded program. Although the program will be the Program Manager's substantial focus and responsibility initially, the Company is seeking a multifaceted individual who will cross-train across the organization. The Program manager is expected to develop a broad knowledge of TeleMed2U operations and support integration with other departments. Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to contribute beyond a single program are essential for long-term success in this role.
Experience
Minimum 5-7 years of professional work experience Minimum 3 years of experience in program management, integrations, operations, or similar role Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of operational planning and workflows (across multiple systems). Experience in telehealth and/or government-funded programs (particularly in the infection prevention space – HIV/STI) preferred Proven experience leading cross-functional projects/initiatives and managing timelines under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational support Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI protection, and quality assurance reporting standards Bachelor's degree preferred
