Texas Commercial Tire is a fast-growing, service-focused commercial Goodyear CTSN dealer located just south of downtown Dallas. We specialize in Light Truck, Commercial Truck, and Off-The-Road tires. We are currently looking for a customer-oriented Inside Sales / Front Counter Representative to join our front-line sales team.
Position Overview
As an Inside Sales / Front Counter Representative, you will be the first point of contact for walk-in and phone-in customers. Your role involves selling tires and services, providing expert product knowledge, processing orders, and dispatching service calls. You will support both the service department and the outside sales team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and top-tier customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and determine their tire and service needs.
- Provide accurate product information and service recommendations.
- Process orders via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Prepare quotes, invoices, and work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate with service and warehouse teams to ensure proper fulfillment of orders.
- Dispatch roadside service calls efficiently, tracking technician availability, service location, and urgency.
- Communicate updates to customers regarding service call ETAs and completion.
- Maintain service call logs and ensure all dispatch-related information is recorded accurately.
- Support outside sales reps with inventory inquiries, order follow-ups, and account coordination.
- Maintain product displays and a clean, organized front counter and lobby area.
- Assist with inventory checks, returns, and tire adjustments as needed.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of inside sales, retail, or counter sales experience.
- Tire or automotive service industry experience is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in basic computer systems (POS, invoicing, and inventory software).
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, positive attitude, and able to multitask under pressure.

Compensation
- Pay Range: Competitive salary starting at $40,000.00 + potential bonus
- Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly or twice monthly
Schedule
