Summary: Provides assistance, guidance, and direction to patient, visitors, and vendors. Obtains accurate patient demographic and billing information, receives authorization to bill, treat, admit and waiver signatures as required. Collects co-pays and co-insurance payments and prepares receipts. Coordinates diagnostic and treatment activities for multiple services with Davis Health System. Evaluates the patient’s third-party payor and diagnosis to ensure medical necessity when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High School or equivalent
- Preferred Experience: One year of experience in customer service
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and third party payers
