Position Summary:
-
Provides professional spiritual care for assigned patients under supervision of director or designate. The person in this position will use spiritual screening tools to determine the need for interventions by chaplaincy staff. Works with director to develop and coordinate a program of chaplain volunteers to assist in the patient screening process.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
-
Bachelor's degree in theology or religious studies or related fields

Master of Divinity or Religious Studies preferred
-
Minimum Experience
-
One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) accredited by the ACPE preferred
-
One year hospital experience preferred
-
Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by ACPE preferred.
