Description:
Responsible for overall functioning of unit
Maintain safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
Oversee patient care in the unit
Perform HR requirements
Schedule staff
Staff education
Relief charge
Develop operational and capital budget for the department and monitor/adjust to meet established goals
Perform Performance Improvement activities
Assume responsibility for professional activities
Experience/Education
Licensed in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse
BS degree in nursing required or plans to enroll in BSN program with certain time frame
3-5 years of experience as staff nurse, Prefer1 year experience as Assistant Nurse Manager
