Job Description
The Risk Management Consultant will assist in risk reduction initiatives, coaching the chapter regarding health and safety, aid in discipline and conduct for the Fraternity.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists in implementing the strategic goals of the Fraternity, with a specific focus on redevelopment and accountability, including, but not limited to, incident reports, corrective action, membership reviews, and alumni commissions
- Works with the Director of Chapter Services and Chapter Services Consultants to effectively move groups through the redevelopment and accountability process
- Develop and implement health and safety strategies
- Oversee the implementation of sanctions
- Develop metrics to determine the health and safety risks of chapters
- Supports the daily operations of the Accountability Department
- Assist the Director of Accountability with coordinating membership reviews and training for alumni commission volunteers
- Communicates regularly with volunteers, including advisors, house corporations, and province councils, as it relates to incidents, investigations, and accountability efforts
- Assist in providing analytical support to supervisors and senior leaders through the generation of timely and credible reports on the status of each group and members involved in redevelopment and accountability issues
- Helps to co-facilitate redevelopment retreats
- Travel to chapters as needed
- Assumes other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Membership in Sigma Alpha Epsilon preferred
- High degree of determination, enthusiasm, and perseverance
- Baccalaureate degree required
- Experience in student group investigations, student conduct or related fields.
- Strong oral, written, and computer skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends occasionally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents
- Ability to develop, plan and implement short and long-term goals
The position is based remotely within driving distance of a major airport or in the Chicago metropolitan area
